V.M. Janakkumaran is an experienced accounting professional with over 20 years of expertise in accounting, finance, auditing, and business management. He began his career in 2004 as an Audit Trainee with KPMG in Colombo, Sri Lanka, building a strong foundation in auditing, financial reporting, and compliance. Following his early professional experience in Sri Lanka, he worked in Qatar before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2010. Since then, he has continued to support businesses with a wide range of accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, and financial management services. Janakkumaran is an AAT Licensed Accountant, a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (FMAAT), and holds the CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA Dip MA). He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Business Management from a UK university. Over the years, he has developed specialist expertise in the implementation, customization, and optimization of leading accounting software solutions, including Sage, Xero, and VT Software. He has successfully helped businesses introduce and integrate these systems, streamline financial processes, improve management reporting, and strengthen their financial controls. His combination of professional qualifications, extensive practical experience, and in-depth knowledge of modern accounting technologies enables him to provide effective, reliable, and tailored financial solutions to businesses of all sizes.
